Fourth Television Game Added to Matador Basketball Schedule

Big West on Fox Sports Schedule

Northridge, Calif. – Cal State Northridge Basketball has proven to be a popular commodity.

During the past five seasons, Matador Basketball has been featured prominently on television (32 times to be exact), including games on Fox Sports Net, CBS and ESPNU.

Earlier this year, it was announced that CSUN's games at UCLA (Nov 28, 9:00 pm), Arizona State (Dec. 8, 11:00 am, pt) and Utah (Dec. 21, 7:30 pm, pt) would be televised live on the Pac-12 Networks.

And now a fourth television game has been added to the CSUN basketball schedule. Prime Ticket, the official regional telecast home of the Big West Conference, has announced its 2012-13 television schedule. Ten conference games will be televised including CSUN's game at UC Irvine (January 12, 4:00 pm).

In addition, Prime Ticket will televise four Big West Tournament Quarterfinal games on March 14 from the Honda Center in Anaheim. In addition, the Big West Tournament women's basketball championship game will be televised on Prime Ticket on March 16, at 1:00 pm from the Honda Center.

In addition, either Prime Ticket or Fox Sports West will feature second day coverage of the Big West Men's & Women's Track & Field Championships which will be hosted by Cal State Northridge on May 11.

Prime Ticket has also announced that the Big West Women's Soccer Championship game will be televised on Nov. 4 (1:00 pm) as well as the Big West Men's Soccer Championship on Nov. 10 (TBD).

Complementing the schedule, Prime Ticket and Fox Sports West, in conjunction with the Big West Conference, will launch the Conference's free-to-access video streaming platform this November. The digital offering will deliver up to 800 live events each academic year, including certain men's and women's basketball games and women's volleyball matches not selected for TV, as well as many other Conference athletic events.
