2011-12 Season (Fifth-Year Senior)
Was granted a season of competition waiver by the NCAA, and was eligible to play for the Matadors for the final 20 games of the 2011-12 season beginning against Pacifica (12/17/11) … Recorded one double-double at Cal Poly (11 pts./10 reb., 1/21/12) ... Ended the season tied for No. 2 on the team with seven blocks and tied for No. 3 with 89 rebounds ... Finished his season with three double-figure scoring games … Also recorded double figures in rebounds in one game … Led Cal State Northridge in scoring and rebounding on one occasion … Led the team in assists in one game … Set three season-highs of 15 points, 10 rebounds, and three blocks vs. Cal Poly (2/15/12) … That game against Cal Poly was the second time in his career that he scored 15 points, and blocked three shots … Made all six free throws taken at UC Riverside (1/2/12), a season-high … Named a starter in ten of the 20 games he played.
2010-11 Season (Senior)
Awarded a special Inspirational Award by the Big West Conference head coaches as the nation’s only deaf NCAA Division I men’s basketball student-athlete ... Voted CSUN Most Inspirational Player ... The subject of numerous feature stories including the New York Times (12/23/10), the Los Angeles Times (2/11/11), espn.com (2/16/11), the Seattle Times (1/8/11), Los Angeles Daily News (2/4/10), CBS Sports (2/12/11), Fox Sports Prime Ticket, ESPNU, the Daily Sundial, ESPNLosAngeles.com, mattbrownphoto.com, Telemundo 52 and three Los Angeles television stations (Channels 2, 4, 5) ... Played in 32 games (10 as a starter), second-best for a single season at CSUN ... Scored a career-high 15 points (6-for-8 from the floor) with five rebounds, two steals and a block at Cal (11/16/10) ... Collected his first collegiate double-double with eleven points and eleven rebounds (career-high) vs Long Beach State (2/12/11) ... Averaged 5.9 points and 4.2 rebounds per game ... 2009-10 Season (Junior)

Played in 31 games including eight starts ... Played his best game of the year with eight points (4-for-5 from the floor) along with six rebounds, three blocks and steals at then tenth-ranked Washington (12/6/09) ... Had a season-high seven rebounds in games at Western Kentucky (11/23/09) and at Colorado (12/22/09) ... Shot .529 (27-for-51) from the floor.
2008-09 Season (Sophomore)
Scored a season-high five points against Pepperdine (12/18/08) ... Scored his first collegiate basket with 1:14 to play at Stanford (11/18/08) ... Grabbed a season-high five rebounds in eight minutes of play vs Denver (12/9/08).
2007-08 Season (Freshman)
Scored four points and grabbed two rebounds in eleven minutes at Cal Poly (1/3/08) ... Played in seven games.
California School For The Deaf
A standout student-athlete at the California School For the Deaf in Fremont, Ca. ... In addition to being a star on the basketball team, Michael also played football (tight end, wide receiver, quarterback) and baseball (pitcher, first baseman, outfielder) ... A three-time all-league player in basketball, and gained MVP league honors during his senior season in 2007 ... Also gained all-league honors (twice) in baseball.
