NORTHRIDGE, Calif. - Cal State Northridge first baseman Dominic D'Anna was listed as one of the top-220 prospects nationwide as chosen by Baseball America, and one of eight Big West student-athletes who received recognition.
Last season, D'Anna was ranked in the top-ten within the conference in a variety of categories before suffering a season-ending injury at Long Beach State.
During his abridged season, D'Anna still finished with a .326 batting average, the third highest mark on the team, started in all 36 games he participated in, and finished with 45 hits, 13 doubles, one triple, seven home runs, and 32 RBI's.
The publication ranked the top-30 prospects from the Cape Cod League, a collection of teams who field some of the most talent-laden rosters each and every summer, and the top-ten prospects from 17 other summer college leagues. Baseball America also listed the top-20 prospects who currently compete for Team USA.
