NORTHRIDGE, Calif. -
The Cal State Northridge baseball program will be holding two camps this summer, including its annual Summer Showcase, head coach Matt Curtis announced Wednesday.
The first camp, which will run from July 25-28 2011, is strictly for youth baseball players age 6-12. Junior Matador Camp will last from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day at Matador Field, with time for swimming at the CSUN pool on selected days.
The cost of Junior Matador Camp is $250 per camper, which includes instruction, contests and camp games each day, as well as lunch and a camp t-shirt.
The Summer Showcase Camp is limited to baseball players in grades 9-12, with only 60 spots available. The camp will take place on Saturday, Aug. 20 and Sunday, Aug. 21 at Matador Field.
Registration for the Summer Showcase Camp begins at 9 a.m. both days, with instruction and contests lasting until 3 p.m. The cost per camper over the two-day showcase is $180.
Payment questions for the camp should be directed to Associated Students at 818-677-2488. Checks can be made payable to CSUN Associated Students and all major credit cards are accepted as well.
