Monday's Northridge-Pepperdine Game Postponed Due to Inclement Weather

NORTHRIDGE, Calif. - Monday's game between the Cal State Northridge Matadors (16-10) and Pepperdine Waves (8-15) had been canceled due to rain and poor field conditions. The game will now take place on Tuesday, April 6 at 11 a.m. in the first game of a doubleheader at Eddy D. Field Stadium on the campus of Pepperdine University.

Both games played on Tuesday are scheduled for nine innings.

There will be a 30 minute break following the conclusion of the first game, followed by the start of the contest originally scheduled to take place on Tuesday.

Junior Ryan Juarez (1-2, 4.47) will start in the first game of the day and face Pepperdine lefty Robert Dickmann (4-2, 5.36). CSUN's starter for the second game of the day has yet to be determined, left-hander Aaron Gates (1-5, 3.06) will take the mound for the Waves in the series finale.
