Steven Keller was this year's recipient of the Paul Edmondson Memorial Scholarship. Keller completed his first season for Cal State Northridge with a .259 batting average, 29 RBI, had multiple hits on 11 occasions and drove in more than one RBI in nine different games. He hit three home runs, two triples and four doubles with 24 runs scored in 52 games (all starts). Keller went 3-for-4 from the plate with a run scored vs. Seattle University (2/20), hit his first home run and had three RBI against Valparaiso (2/26) and two RBI in Game 2 of a doubleheader (2/27), and went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and an RBI in the win at Lamar (3/6). He went 2-for-5 with an RBI against San Diego State to push his hit streak to 10 games and went 3-for-5 with a triple, three RBI and two runs scored vs. Lafayette (3/12 Gm. 2). He went 1-for-3 with two RBI and two runs in a win over Sacramento State (3/18 Gm. 2) and drove in the tying run with a single in an eventual 2-1 win over LMU (3/27). Keller had four RBI in the series at UC Irvine (4/1 to 4/3), went 3-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored against Pacific (4/23), had two hits and two RBI in a non-conference game at UCSB (4/26), and went 3-for-4 against UC Davis (4/30). He hit 2-for-3 with two runs scored and two RBI as his two-run home run in the bottom of the eighth proved to be the game winner over UC Santa Barbara (5/7). He added an RBI to his season total at San Diego State (5/10) and hit a two-run home run to left field against UC Riverside in a victory (5/15). Keller also went 1-for-4 with a run scored in a 2-0 win at Long Beach State (5/20) and went 1-for-4 with a run scored in a victory over Cal State Fullerton (5/27).

Steven Keller caught two seasons for the Vaqueros and Coach Warrecker. He hit .358 and belted eight home runs en route to receiving the Coaches Award and All-League First Team recognition. Keller received his associate's degree in 2010 with a 3.59 GPA.
AGOURA HIGH SCHOOL
Keller played baseball all four years for the Chargers of the Marmonte League, splitting time between catching, second base and designated hitter. His team finished second in the D1 playoffs in 2005, and he earned Second Team All-League honors in both 2007 and 2008. As a senior, he hit for .440 batting average and had 14 doubles.
