Harley Holt was awarded the Mike Frick Memorial Scholarship for the 2011-12 year. Holt joined Cal State Northridge as a freshman pitcher in 2011 and finished with a 6.23 ERA in 11 appearances and did not earn a decision while striking out nine in 13.0 innings. Against Big West opponents, he compiled a 1.35 ERA with a .174 batting average against in 6.2 innings. Holt made his Northridge debut as a relief pitcher and struck out two batters in 2.1 innings vs. Seattle University (2/19 Gm. 1), entered the game and pitched 0.2 innings against Valparaiso (2/28), and pitched 0.2 innings in relief, striking out two batters, in a loss at Lamar (3/4). He threw 2.1 scoreless relief innings and struck out two, matching career highs vs. Bakersfield (4/8), pitched a scoreless inning with one strikeout at Cal Poly (4/16) and tossed 1.1 innings without allowing a run against UC Santa Barbara (5/8). Holt pitched 1.2 innings and allowed a run against UC Riverside (5/13) and also tossed 2.0 scoreless innings, allowing just one hit against Cal State Fullerton (5/28).

Harley Holt played baseball and was a member of the ILH champion cross country team for the Warriors. He pitched for head coach Vern Ramie and graduated in 2010 with a 3.3 GPA.
