Justen Gorski finished his junior season at Northridge with a 3-5 record and a 6.10 ERA in 16 appearances (nine starts), earned one save and striking out 34 while walking 19 hitters in 48.2 innings. He threw 7.0 innings and set a career high in strikeouts (8) while only allowing 3 hits in an Opening Day victory vs. Seattle University (2/18) and came on in relief and threw 2.1 scoreless innings against Valparaiso (2/28) to earn his second win of the season. Gorski threw 1.2 innings to earn his first save of the season in the victory at Lamar (3/6), pitched 7.0 innings and struck out four to earn his third win on 3/19 vs. Sacramento State, and tossed a scoreless inning with one strikeout against UC Riverside (5/14).
In his 21 appearances this season, Justen Gorski finished with a 5-3 record, 5.37 ERA, one save, and started five games. In his 57.0 innings pitched, the right-hander struckout 31 batters, allowing only 17 walks and picked-off three runners, tying Bryan Longpre for the best mark on the team and third-highest total in the conference. He struck out two batters in 3.1 IP vs. Southern (2/20), pitched 5.0 scoreless innings and earned his first win of the season at San Diego (2/23), and struck out two batters vs. Connecticut (3/5). Gorski earned his second win of the season vs. Connecticut (3/8), threw 2.0 innings and struckout two at Seattle (3/19), and threw another 2.1 innings and struckout another batter at Seattle (3/21). He struckout a season-high four batters in 2.0 innings vs. Sacramento State (3/26), threw one inning of shutout baseball vs. UC Irvine (4/1), allowed only one run and one hit vs. UC Irvine (4/3) and pitched two shutout innings for his first career save vs. Cal State Bakersfield (4/11). Gorski threw two innings, gave up zero runs and fanned one against SDSU (4/13), threw 3.0 innings and allowed only three runs vs. UC Davis, and allowed just four hits and tied a season high with four strikeouts at UC Santa Barbara (5/8). He pitched 4.1 innings and struckout one batter at UC Riverside (5/15), set a new career high with his seven innings pitched against Long Beach State, striking out three batters as well (5/22), and threw 1.0 inning vs. UC Riverside (5/25).
Gorski made his Northridge debut by pitching 1.1 innings, striking out one batter at Nebraska (3/6). He pitched 3.2 innings and struck out four batters in the Matadors' 10-7 victory in the second game of a doubleheader vs. Columbia (3/21) and allowed only one hit and zero runs in 2.0 innings vs. UNLV (3/31). He pitched 2.2 innings and struckout one batter at Cal Poly (4/3), pitched 1.2 innings, gave up zero hits, and struck out another batter at Cal Poly (4/5), and pitched another 1.0 inning of no-hit ball and struck out another batter at USC (4/7). Gorski struck out a season-high five batters vs. Cal State Fullerton (4/11) and allowed only one earned run in 4.0 innings pitched vs. Long Beach State (4/18).

Gorski was a four-year letterman as a pitcher for coach Scott Fullerton and the baseball team at Moorpark High School. He was named All-League Hitter of the Year in 2007.
