The junior returned to the Matadors after redshirting the 2010 season and appeared in eight games, starting once. He pinch-hit and walked in his season debut vs. Seattle University (2/19 Gm. 1) and made his first start since 2009 vs. Valparaiso (2/27 Gm. 1). He pinch hit against Lamar at the YMBL Cardinal Classic (3/4), had a pinch hit opportunity at UC Davis (4/29) and against UC Riverside (5/15), and served primarily as the team's first base coach.
Todd Eskelin redshirted the 2010 season.
Eskelin finished the season with the second highest batting average (.333), slugging percentage (.579), on-base percentage (.433), and triples (2) and collected his first hit and RBI of the season vs. Pepperdine (2/21). He scored once vs. Loyola Marymount (2/24), had one hit and scored one run vs. San Jose State (3/14) went 2-for-2 and hit his first home run of the season in game two vs. Columbia (3/21). He drove in a career-high two RBI's and hit a double at LMU (3/24), hit a career-high three RBI's vs. UCSB (3/28) and batted 3-for-4 with a double, triple, and set new career-highs with three hits and four at-bats vs. UCSB (3/29). He hit his second triple of the season vs. UNLV (3/31), went 3-for-5 with a double and a RBI vs. UNLV (4/1) and had one hit, a double, and drove in one run at USC (4/7). Eskelin had one hit and scored one run as a pinch-hitter at UC Irvine (5/2).
Eskelin appeared in 23 games last season and was named to the starting lineup on seven occasions. He hit .143 with four hits, one double, and drove in two RBI's.

Eskelin earned two letters for the Conquistadors as an outfielder and was elected captain as a junior and senior. He earned All-West Valley League honors as a junior and senior and garnered All-City and team MVP awards as a senior. Eskelin helped guide his team to a CIF Championship in 2006 and batted .420 with 11 home runs and 58 RBI as a senior. He graduated in 2007 with a 3.0 GPA.
