Baseball Fan Fair Set for Saturday, March 29

NORTHRIDGE, Calif. -

On Saturday, March 29, prior to the Cal State Northridge baseball game against Long Beach State, fans are invited to the Matador Baseball pregame Fan Fair from 11 a.m to 1 p.m. adjacent to the baseball field on the corner of Lindley Ave. and Halsted St.

The Fan Fair will feature the "The Good Greek Grub" food truck, inflatable games, and cool prizes for all in attendance. The first 200 fans will receive a voucher for a free food truck item courtesy of The University Corporation and all fans in attendance will receive a Sport Chalet Mystery Gift Card (value up to $100).

Prior to the start of the game, the Matadors will also retire the jersey of former head coach and athletic director Bob Hiegert, who led Cal State Northridge to two NCAA Division II National Championships in his 18 seasons. The ceremony will begin at approximately 12:40 p.m. at Matador Field, followed by the first pitch between the Matadors and Dirtbags.
