Men's Student-Athlete of the Week: Josh Greene, Basketball
Cal State Northridge junior Josh Greene scored a career-high 37 points to lead CSUN to an 88-75 victory over Hawaii last week.
Greene’s 37 points were seventh-best for a single game in the 55-year history or Matador basketball. It was also the highest point total since Kenny Daniels scored 39 points against Idaho on Feb. 3, 2009. Greene hit seven three-pointers against the Warriors, third-best for a single game in school history.
He earned All-Big West Honorable Mention honors for the 2012-13 season after averaging 14.5 points, 2.7 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game. He shot 38.7 percent from 3-point range on the season.
