Join Matador Athletics for a day of golf in support of our student-athletes at Cal State Northridge! This event will be held at the Porter Valley Country Club in Northridge, CA.

This event supports the Women's Golf program as well as the Matador Athletics department.

Registration starts at 9:30 a.m. with at shotgun start promptly at 11 a.m.

Included in your registration are your green fees, cart, range balls, breakfast, on-course lunch, refreshments, dinner, on-course contests and more!

Various members of the Matador coaching staff will also be on hand for this fun event!

FAQ's

How much does it cost to golf?
• For an individual golfer, it is $300. For a foursome, the cost is $1,200.

What is included in my registration fee?
• Green fees, cart, range balls, breakfast, on-course lunch, refreshments, dinner, on-course contests, team prizes, mulligans and various door prizes.

What time should I arrive at the course?
• Registration begins at 9:30. We recommend arrive around then. It depends on how much time you'd need for breakfast and warming up. We will start breakfast service at 9:30 and the driving range will open at the same time as well.

What is the format?
• It is a four man scramble. Each member tees off and chooses the best drive. From there each person hits and follows this format until the ball is holed out.

Do I need a team or can I sign up as an individual?
• It is not necessary to find a foursome. We are able to pair you with other individuals, including some of our coaches and staff members.

What is we only have three people in our group?
Each person in the group will alternate hitting an additional shot per hole.

Do I need a handicap?
• No, the event is not handicapped.

Will there be on-course games, and if so how much will they cost?
• There will be on-course games, such as closest to the pin and long drive. These contests are included in your entry fee. This is an all inclusive event. The only time you will need additional money is for silent/live auction items and the no host bar following play.

What time will the event be over?
• We will start the silent auction immediately following play and then we will move on to dinner, awards and live auction items. The event should be wrapped up by approximately 7pm.

Can I bring a dinner guest?
• Absolutely, the more the merrier! The cost of the banquet is $50 for additional guests.
