Rockville, Md. – Cal State Northridge, a member of the Big West Conference, has partnered with PrestoSports to create a new athletics web site.
The Matadors are the fifth member of the Big West Conference to partner with PrestoSports. Earlier this year, Pacific, UC Irvine and UC Santa Barbara launched a new website with PrestoSports while Cal Poly is expected to move forward with its new website in a couple weeks.
Gomatadors.com will continue to feature all the news, scores and highlights of CSUN’s 18 intercollegiate varsity sports. The sites redesign places an emphasis on easier navigation and access to information. In addition, PrestoSports’ enhanced statistics and biographies will give a more dynamic view of more than 450 Matador student-athletes.
CSUN fans can register for live score updates via mobile device and can also manage their complete fan experience by subscribing to various e-newsletters. In addition, CSUN’s social media platforms – Facebook, Twitter and YouTube – can also be accessed from CSUN’s homepage – gomatadors.com
More than 300 colleges and universities are clients of PrestoSports. The list includes several west coast schools including Santa Clara and USF. Other schools affiliated with PrestoSports include Butler University and Virginia Commonwealth (two schools that competed in the 2011 NCAA Final Four), Harvard, Yale, and the Ivy League.
PrestoSports, founded in 2002, is a leading provider of athletic content management software to colleges and conference offices. PrestoSports features a full-time staff with more than 40 years combined experience in collegiate athletics.
