Erin Kiser Named Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing
Cal State Northridge Interim Athletic Director Janet Lucas announced today that after a full search, Erin Kiser has been named to the post of assistant athletic director for marketing, to which she reported to on Aug. 22, 2005. Kiser replaces Jennifer Lee, who left the position on July 27 to become the client services coordinator for the San Francisco 49ers.
"We are excited to add an individual with Ms. Kiser's experience and success to the marketing staff in intercollegiate athletics," Lucas said. "She has been an integral part of the Office of Alumni Relations at Cal State Northridge during a period of tremendous growth and she will bring energy and enthusiasm for the university to her new role in athletics.
Kiser will be responsible for the marketing and promoting of the 20 Matador athletic teams.
While new to the position and working in an intercollegiate athletics department, she is very familiar with Cal State Northridge.
Kiser has worked at Cal State Northridge since 2001 in the Office of Alumni Relations, where she helped implement a dues-paying membership program and helped reconnect alumni with their alma mater.
In addition to her membership duties as the Membership and Marketing Coordinator, she partnered on numerous events in support of many of the athletic events here at CSUN.
"Erin will provide the leadership and direction necessary to raise the presence and awareness of our sport programs with the campus, students, local community and alumni in an effort to broaden and strengthen our fan base and support," Lucas added.
Kiser majored in deaf studies and is an alumna of Cal State Northridge.
