The longtime head coach of the Matador baseball team is turning in his ball, bat and glove for a chance to become a "Top Chef" when Rousey competes in the first-ever "NCAA Baseball Coaches Cook-Off" on Saturday, January 24 (8-11 a.m.), at the ESPN Zone Restaurant in the Anaheim Downtown Disney District ... Rousey will compete in the "Iron Chef" style competition against head coaches from USC, Cal State Fullerton, Cal State Long Beach, Loyola Marymount, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, University of San Diego, and UC Santa Barbara ... Rousey will team with an ESPN Zone chef to prepare an entree in a 20-minute time period and present their creations to a panel of judges ... The dishes will be graded on presentation, creativity and taste ... The winning coach will be crowned "Top Chef" and more importantly "bragging rights" ... No doubt, in his spare time, Rousey is hovering over a hot kitchen stove preparing what promises to be an all-star meal ... Good luck coach.
